- Provide patient care.
- Calm the situation.
- Consider having a supervisor respond to the scene.

Facilitate information exchange between the parties.
- Both parties are legally required to provide this information to the other party if requested.
- Verify ID information (a driver's license).
- Record the parties' names, addresses, phone numbers, and birth dates.
- Do not involve law enforcement unless one of the parties requests it (e.g., to get the other party's ID).
- If you are unable to get information from a party (e.g., they left the scene before you arrived), document that on your report.
- Complete a Collision report in Edge Auditor.
- Complete a Patroller Comments report in Edge Auditor.
