  1. Confirm all morning sweeps are assigned and completed.
  2. Confirm the top area is set up correctly.
    • Confirm egress gate is narrow and avalanche warning is correct.
    • Confirm toboggan counts.
  3. Daily Log
    1. Initiate daily log.
    2. Complete the top shack checklist.
    3. Log entries should be: time, event (walk-in, 10-50, transport-only [w/reason]), location, age, gender, skier/snowboarder, probable injury, and patroller name.
  4. Assign raising/lowering of tower pads as needed.
  5. Assign speed control (on Sunshine) and log as needed.
  6. At 1500:
    1. Let Crest Top know (preferably via phone) the number of patrollers needed for closing sweeps (typically four if you do earlies with an optional Super).
    2. Assign closing sweeps.
    3. Close the Preston egress gate. Optionally, close Sawbuck and send Sawbuck Early sweeper at 1500 (it is preferable to request an additional sweeper and sweep Snake at one time).
  7. Supervise closing sweeps.
  8. Clean top shack.
  9. Perform Snake Super sweep.
